Pusoy and Pusoy Dos are part of every Filipino gathering — from family reunions to barkada game nights. Now WowWin brings those same games online with real money tables, real opponents, and instant GCash payouts. Tara na, laro na!
Ask any Filipino about Pusoy and you'll get a story — the uncle who always wins at family parties, the college barkada that played until 3 AM the night before exams, the neighborhood tournament that ran all through the holiday break. Pusoy is deeply woven into Filipino social life in a way that few card games elsewhere in the world can match.
WowWin brings that same experience online with real money tables running around the clock. You're not playing against a computer — every seat at every WowWin Pusoy table has a real Filipino player on the other side. The same reading of hands, the same psychology, the same satisfaction when you beat a tough opponent — it's all there, except now the winnings go straight to your GCash wallet.
WowWin offers both Pusoy (the three-hand arrangement game also known as Chinese Poker) and Pusoy Dos (the ladder-style shedding game). Beginners can start at low-stakes tables for as little as ₱20 per game, while experienced players who know their hands inside out will find the high-stakes rooms and tournament events challenging enough to keep things interesting no matter how long you've been playing.
The WowWin mobile interface is built specifically so Pusoy plays well on a phone screen — clean card display, easy drag-to-arrange on the arrangement version, and fast turn timers that keep the game moving. No more waiting ten minutes for someone to decide which card to play. Just clean, fast Pusoy the way it should be.
Two variants, one platform — both the way Filipinos actually play.
Pusoy uses a standard 52-card deck and is played by exactly four players. Each player is dealt 13 cards and must arrange them into three separate hands before the comparison phase begins. The arrangement structure is fixed: your Back hand must be stronger than your Middle hand, and your Middle hand must be stronger than your Front hand. If you arrange them incorrectly (called a "dead hand" or "foul"), you automatically lose all comparisons.
Suit order only matters when comparing equal-rank cards to determine the single highest card in a hand. A♠ beats A♥, which beats A♣, which beats A♦.
The Back and Middle hands follow standard poker rankings. Memorize these and you're already ahead of casual players on WowWin.
Pusoy Dos plays differently from the arrangement version. All 52 cards are dealt to four players (13 cards each), and the player holding the 3 of Diamonds leads first. From there, players take turns playing combinations that beat the previous play — or pass. You can only beat a play with the same type of combination (singles beat singles, pairs beat pairs, five-card hands beat five-card hands) but of higher value.
The 2 cards are the most powerful singles — with 2♠ being the absolute highest card in the game. This is where the "Dos" name comes from, and it's why holding 2s at key moments can completely change the momentum of a round. Strategic players on WowWin hold their 2s until they absolutely need them rather than burning them early on minor plays.
When everyone passes on your play, you clear the pile and lead a new combination. The round continues until one player runs out of cards — that player wins the game and collects from all three opponents on WowWin. The number of cards left in each opponent's hand often determines the payout multiplier in some table variants.
Pusoy isn't pure luck. The arrangement decisions in classic Pusoy and the sequencing decisions in Pusoy Dos both involve genuine skill — and skilled players consistently outperform random card distributions over the long run. Here's what the better WowWin players focus on to edge out opponents consistently.
New players often put all their best cards in the Back hand and end up with almost nothing in Middle and Front. Against experienced players on WowWin, you'll win Back but lose Middle and Front — netting zero or going negative. A balanced arrangement that wins two out of three comparisons most rounds beats a lopsided arrangement almost every time.
The instinct to play a 2 whenever you have the lead is common among newer players on WowWin. But experienced opponents will pass and let you "waste" your 2 leading a pile that nobody was going to fight for anyway. Save your 2s to cut into runs that threaten to let an opponent go out, or to clear the pile at a moment when you can lead with your most disruptive combination.
Once you know the 2♦ and 2♥ are already out, the 2♣ and 2♠ holders have the real power. If you hold 2♠, knowing the other three 2s are gone means your single is effectively invincible — play it tactically at the moment that disrupts whoever is closest to emptying their hand.
In many Pusoy variants, winning all three hands against an opponent (called a "sweep" or "clean sweep") earns bonus units. WowWin's classic Pusoy tables pay extra for sweeps — so sometimes sacrificing a little strength in Back or Middle to guarantee a stronger Front is mathematically correct when you have a clear read on weak opponents.
